Miami, FL (29 de abril, 2011) – En la décimo tercera celebración de una de las noches más importantes de la música popular, los Premios Billboard de la Música Latina 2011, ¡los talentos de Sony Music volvieron a destacarse!
Año tras año, los artistas de Sony Music se lucen en este espectáculo, tanto en sus presentaciones en vivo como en los premios que obtienen.
Entre los artistas que fueron premiados con estos prestigiosos galardones se encuentran: Aventura (Premium Latin), quienes además recibieron el Premio Tu Mundo, otorgado por el público, Camila, Chayanne, Daddy Yankee (El Cartel), Prince Royce (Top Stop) y Shakira.
El evento, efectuado anoche en el BankUnited Center de la ciudad de Coral Gables, Florida, comenzó a ser transmitido en vivo por la cadena de TV Telemundo a las 7 p.m. (hora del este) con un desfile de estrellas por la Alfombra Roja. Dyland & Lenny, el dúo urbano del momento, cautivó al público con su presentación, destacándose al interpretar su éxito Caliente acompañados de El Cata y una sorprendente coreografía de baile, donde Lenny se lució acompañado por varios bailarines.
El grupo del momento, Camila, se lució al presentar su nuevo sencillo Entre Tus Alas, demostrando una vez más todo el talento musical que poseen y el ícono de la música latina Marc Anthony, recibió una fuerte ovación al interpretar el tercer corte promocional de su último disco A Quién Quiero Mentirle.
En uno de los momentos más emotivos de la noche, Natalia Jiménez presentó el premio especial Espíritu de Esperanza a Gloria Estefan, mientras Ricky Martin narraba una reseña sobre la vida de esta legendaria estrella cubanoamericana.
Natalia, como siempre, impresionó a los medios con su elegante forma de vestir al igual que el nuevo talento de Sony Music Christian Daniel, el cual fue parte del gran elenco de presentadores de la noche.
Pitbull (Mr. 305), apoyado por otros artistas, tuvo a su cargo el espectacular cierre de los Premios Billboard de la Música Latina 2011 con un popurrí de canciones.
Sony Music Latin también obtuvo una importante distinción como Sello Discográfico del Año en cuatro categorías:

RECORD LABEL OF THE YEAR IN FOUR CATERGORIES
Miami, FL (April 29, 2011) – During the 13th edition of one of music’s most important evenings, the 2011 Billboard Latin Music Awards, Sony Music talents once again shine!
Year after year, Sony Music artists enthrall with their live performances as well as for the awards obtained.
Among the artists that were honored with these prestigious awards were: Aventura (Premium Latin), who also received the Tu Mundo Award, chosen by the public; Camila, Chayanne, Daddy Yankee (El Cartel), Prince Royce (Top Stop), and Shakira.
The event, held last night at the BankUnited Center of the city of Coral Gables, Florida, was aired live on the Telemundo TV network beginning at 7 p.m. (EST) with a spectacular procession of stars on the Red Carpet. Dyland & Lenny, the urban music duo of the moment, captivated the audience with the performance of their hit single Caliente accompanied by El Cata and incorporated a stunning choreography which featured Lenny togetherwith several dancers.
Camila, the “it” band of the moment, gave an brilliant performance of their latest single Entre Tus Alas, once more demonstrating their unbelievable musical talent; and the Latin music icon Marc Anthony, received a standing ovation as he presented A Quién Quiero Mentirle, the third single off his latest album.
In one of the evening’s most touching moments, Natalia Jiménez presented the special award Spirit of Hope to Gloria Estefan, while Ricky Martin narrated a video on the life of this legendary Cuban American singer.
Natalia, as always, impressed the media with her elegant look, just like new Sony Music talent Christian Daniel, who also presented an award.
Pitbull (Mr. 305), along with other artists, was in charge of the spectacular final number for the 2011 Billboard Latin Music Awards.
Sony Music Latin also won the distinction of being named Label of the Year in four categories:
